Travelogue: March 16th - 31st, 2007
Prologue - As usual I am running behind on
time, but at least wanted to get some pics up at each location where we
stopped on our trip. We had three cameras between us so this is only a
fraction of the pictures from my camera. Craig was in charge of the
kayaking pics (waterproof camera helps) and the dirt bike riding pics.
Those to follow shortly, or so I say, along with more travelogue details of
daily adventures.
Below is a map of Baja, many of the places we went to are on
the map and you can track our day to day location/s. Mostly we were on
the Sea of Cortez side, but if you follow the red highway lines you can see
our route based on our daily destinations. We ended up driving almost
3,000 miles in the van and going about 2/3's of the way down into Loreto,
which was our turn around spot and then we headed back up north.

Day 1 - Friday,
March 16th: Castro Valley, CA to San Diego, CA
No pics on this day. I forgot to
take the camera out and snap a couple of shots of my Aunt's place (where we
stayed in San Diego). Bummer because my cousin and his girlfriend were
there and I hadn't seen my cousin in several years. Oh well, the
excitement of vacation and distractions strikes again.
